Madison Town Board approves houseboat regulation

NY MADISON — Madison Town Board approves houseboat regulation for Madison Lake. Supervisor Greg Rueter and the board unanimously adopted Resolution #11-26 establishing local law to regulate houseboats, setting a public hearing for July 9, 2026. The board approved a total of 58,881.59 in general and highway bills.

Highway Superintendent Jeff Bailey reported the town received 333,409.92 in CHIPS funding for road work, with crews set to install a new culvert on East Lake Road on June 15; the road will be closed for approximately one month.
