Town Board approves dump truck, urges electricity rate review

NY MADISON — Madison Town Board approved the purchase of a 2018 automatic dump truck and presented resolutions urging state review of electricity rates during its March meeting. Deputy Supervisor Patty Bikowsky, Councilpersons Jim Lundrigan and Brad Dixon also authorized combined bills totaling $220,744.84 and presented resolutions requesting a speed study on Love Joy Road and authorizing a fund transfer. The Abbert Road project will resume in April requiring approximately $10,000 more than the original quote to complete, while the town took over responsibility for the May 25 Memorial Day parade from the Village of Madison.
